Suggestions for new comforter set colors for my guest broom.?

I have a pretty big guest bedroom with a queen bed and a twin bed with 2 black side tables. also, the lamp shades are red and the bases are black. what color comforter set would you suggest? room is white. i don't want to throw out the lamps b/c it is a bit expensive. this room also contains a pc, a writing desk, a small shelf.....they are all oak. i know it does not match with my side tables. but i don't want to throw them out. often, my younger sisters visit me during weekends and they use this bedroom. they are 22 and 18.
