Why is it that whenever a Democrat is caught in a ual scandal, it's with someone of the opposite ?

Part of the problem is this, while Dems can be gay or straight and caught in any kind of scandal, since they don't loudly proclaim themselves as paragons of the public virtue, and defenders of family values, they don't appear as hypocritical. Of course members of both parties can commit bother gender ual pecadillos. So for the Dems, while being caught out can raise questions about their good judgement and ethics, it doesn't make them seem quite the hypocrites the republicans look like when their caught at it. It's not double standards, it's the fact the repubs are being judged by the standards they used to judge others.
