Every single one of us the devil inside?

ever think maybe the earth in this dimension is a prison? what if every form of life is just an expression of one entity? what if we are all just "Satan" in various forms, forced to feed on ourselves to survive? forced to exist in a world of linear time, we go to bed at night and the entity simply goes to another form, our dreams being some kind of message to help us somehow.. or just a bizarre background noise of many lives between each waking life. what if "religious" stories are true in that they are an expression of our own subconscious understanding of this fact? what if we are the devil who "fell to earth" not literally from some cloud heaven, but fell into a lower form of existence trapped in this state? what if every great rise and fall of life, the primitive forms, the dinosaurs, were all just waves of energy becoming more and more complex? what would be the point? are we all intended to keep going until we reach a "maturity" needed to grow past this?
