Report illegal use of tax exemption?

Hi I work in a store where customers frequently use tax exemption to pay for their purchases. Many of these purchases seem suspicious. These people claim these items are for resale, but are buying 1 package of gum, 1 pack of razors, 1 bunch of bananas and so on, things that seem like they are for person use not resale. Is there anyway I could report these people to a higher authority (possibly the irs, I don't know if they would do anything because it would be a ton of work to research these claims and it would not be as profitable as going after people who owe thousands of dollars) , because it makes me angry that they are getting away with not paying taxes on their purchases while I pay tax on everything I buy that is for my personal use?
